Benfield's Backyard Birds
Real-time audio classification of our backyard birds powered by sixteen tons of computer code from The Wine Guy, Fugleramme, and Birdnet-Go.
This live board pairs real-time acoustic bird detections right in our yard with vintage illustrations sourced entirely from public domain historical archives, created without AI. The gallery displays our top 30 most detected species, with the most recent detected visitor in the spotlight at the center of the grid. This page auto-refreshes every 5 minutes.
